5.0 out of 5 stars Technology Leads The Way, February 22, 2011
By

I was blown away by this driver the moment I picked it up. After watching the gentleman at my local Golf USA smack the ball about 360 yards with this, I thought I'd give it a try. My drives were consistently down the middle (neutral bias) and about 10 yards was added (I can't hit over 300 yards). The forging technology developed in tandem with Lamborghini means club head thicknesses are more consistent and the material is lighter than titanium. While the club face is still titanium, the rest of the club is forged composite making it lighter, allowing Callaway to make the shaft a long 46". Demo this club folks. I never thought in my dreams I would spend this much for a single club, but it has changed my game immensely. I have never been a more firm believer in the technology that goes into a golf club as I am now. Cheers to long straight drives. Shoot straight.

4.0 out of 5 stars same distance as FT5 .. disapointed !, August 19, 2011

John Schuster (Scottsdale, Az) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I just got & played the Razr 9.5 stiff neutral, it will replace my Callaway FT5 after using both drivers it is about the same in distance but a little harder to control because of the added legnth, I guess I was expecting at least a 10 yd gain, not happening with me, also playing the FT5 most shots found center fairway, but with Razr most found the rough, I may have it re shafted with a shorter & stockier shaft to make it more stable, my swing speed is at 100 & I'm a 10 hdcp. I wish I saved the money & stayed with my reliable FT5 which I may go back to & sell the Razr, but I'm going to play a few more rounds with it & document length & accuracy.
I was able to play 18 holes & hit 2 drives on most using both drivers while checking for distance they were about even sorry to say, I do feel as if I wasted the money on some miracle driver if there is such a thing. I would recommend buying one only if you really need a new driver or a major upgrade to the one you have now. spend some of... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Callaway does it again, June 28, 2011

I've been a lifetime Callaway user and once again was thrilled with their product.

I'm getting massive drives and the ball is flying like never before. I just upgraded from a Callaway Great Big Bertha Hawkeye Titatnium, circa 2000

The driver size comparison, old to new, is unreal.

460 CCs of power waiting to be unleashed.

I've been playing golf since I was 5 (29 now), and this is by far the best driver I've ever hit.

I'd highly highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars You need this bag!!, May 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
Just received this Taylor Made Microlite stand bag last week (Navy/White/Black). I ordered the bag on Monday morning and it was on my doorstep Friday afternoon. Played my first round of golf with it 3 days later. I did significant research at a number of different websites before purchasing. I kept coming back to this one. The price was right, over $50 cheaper than the newer model with the same specs. The materials are quality with just the right number of pockets to hold all of your gear. The club dividers make a huge difference considering the compact size of the bag. The extra handle near the top of the bag is a great idea. Helps when getting your bag into or out of the car. Even the water bottle holder was put to good use. The double straps were surprisingly comfortable and adjusted perfectly to my height/build/etc. My back definitely appreciated the lighter load after my round was over. No sales tax and free shipping. If you're in the market for a new golf bag, you... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Good bag for the casual golfer., August 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
Great bag, lightweight, plenty of pocket space. I golf about twice a month, and this back has everything I need. The stand works perfect, the red color is appealing, and the backpack straps don't feel awkward, Its a simple carry. Occasionally i feel like my clubs could use a little more room, but its nothing overly annoying - this could also be my fault in instances where I just hooked a new ball into the woods and slammed my club into my bad in disgust.

Five stars. Great Bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars GolfGym has improved my game, October 12, 2009
By
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer - Masters Edition (Misc.)
My fitness trainer (who has a 1.6 index) recommended that I purchase and use a GolfGym Powerswing. I have had two shoulder surgeries in the past and no longer lift weights. My objective was to increase my endurance and improve my golf game. The GolfGym is great device. The Master's Edition contains a golf club training grip and 3 resistance bands (light, medium and heavy). Within 2 weeks of steady use I have noticed that my endurance has improved and I am rotating around my back leg rather than swaying. I also feel strong late in the round when I normally start getting sloppy. My index has dropped from a 12.9 to an 11.7 (and getting lower). I attribute this to the GolfGym and a walking/jogging program.

After 4 or 5 weeks of using the light (yellow) band I moved up to the medium (red) band. My workout includes a full power swing, a power turn (both feet) an external rotation (both sides) and a two-handed overhead pull. The manual includes decent diagrams for these... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Good workout, February 23, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer - Masters Edition (Misc.)
I live in the northeast and can't golf in the winter so I thought this might be a good product to help me do some golf specific exercises. I like the golf grip and the different strength bands are great. It was harder than I expected but makes for a good workout. I can't comment on how it will help my golf game but if you do the exercises right it definitely works the core, arms and other golfing muscles. It might be a little expensive for workout bands but I think it's worth it for the golf grip. I golf lefty and ordered the right handed one, emailed customer service and they called me the next day and sent me a lefthanded grip for shipping cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile Product, August 1, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer - Masters Edition (Misc.)
So far, the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer is a great product. I've owned it for about a month. I love the versatility of the GolfGym in how quickly I can change from one exercise to another. In doing so, I'm able to get a pretty complete workout in about 1/2 hr. to include shoulders, arms, torso, and legs. I don't need a lot of space and it's compact enough to easy pack in my suitcase for business trips and vacations. Now the $64,000 question, does it work...the answer is yes. The proof for me is my golf game. Recently, I noticed that when I make a good swing my drives and/or fairway shots are a little longer plus my back and shoulders aren't as sore at the end of the round.
